UofL game

We went to watch the University of Louisville Cardinals play against Michigan State in Indianapolis for the chance to be in the Final Four of the NCAA tourney. They lost. I even dressed in UofL colors and cheered for them.  Hubby says it is my fault since I am a UK fan at heart.  But, we did have fun at the game. I am glad I had the opportunity to go. Too bad for the loss. Lots of heartbroken fans.

Sesame Street LIVE

TODAY WE WENT TO SEE SESAME STREET!

Carson is a huge Sesame Street fan. So, we went to the show. We had an awesome time. 

He was such a good boy, he sat there in his seat and stared at the characters. He loved it! The show was very entertaining, and I love to take my little guy out all by myself. These are very special times for both of us. I hope we will always enjoy our alone time together just like this.  It gives me a chance to talk to him and really be able to hear him without interruption.  He deserves time alone with Mommy.  It is hard to always share with baby sister.  

He told me his favorite is Big Bird, and like it best when they sang "Elmo's World" and "People in the Neighborhood."  Every time a character left the stage he noticed and would repeatedly ask when they were coming back.  He is very observant... and insistent.

I had a great time with you today Carson! I love you!  

NO pictures!

Here is my baby girl.... Hard to believe how big she is getting. I think she is cuter every day. I wonder when I will stop thinking she keeps getting cuter?  I mean do parents always think this way, or just about their babies? I still think the same way about my boy too.  He tells me he is not a baby anymore, but he is still getting cuter.  

This sweet baby is getting sooooo big. She walks most of the time now and can stand up from a squatting position. Wow - time flies!

This is how cute my boy is when he finally allows me to get him on camera! So, of course I want to post photos of him. But, sometimes it is an ordeal.

Carson has decided he does not want to be in any of my pictures anymore. This makes it more fun for me to take pictures of his little attitude! This is him hiding from me..

This is him telling me "No!"  But as you can easily see by the previous pictures. It is worth the effort. He is quite adorable once we get him to cooperate. The worst case is when I take him to get pictures made and he acts like this.  That is a waste of my time and money. Fun times!

eet girl to pieces and we want her to enjoy the special day just as much as we enjoy having her in our lives.  

So, we celebrate!  First... donuts for breakfast. Then, later on we went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch. Sweet girl rode on all of the baby rides. Big Brother rode on some of them when he wasn't on the BIG BOY rides.  Our sweet girl had a good time enjoying her special day.  

We really enjoyed spending the day with our wonderful children.  Happy Birthday Reese!
