Watermelon

Summertime brings the wonderful flavor of watermelon.  The kids love it. Both of them like to eat it a lot.  We let them eat as much as they want.  These pictures are on the patio of the condo.  It is too juicy to eat inside.

Pirates

We went on a Pirate ship cruise today while we are on vacation.  Carson and Reese got dressed in their pirate hats and went searching for buried treasure in the Atlantic Ocean.  They had a great time. Reese liked the music and dancing and looking out at the ocean.  Carson got involved in all the games and buried treasure.  It was a good time.

Vacation

We are on vacation in Florida. We came to a resort called Splash in Panama City Beach, Florida.  We are having a GREAT time.  The kids are doing wonderful here.  They play in the pool or on the beach all day long. Then we take a nap in the room and go out in the evening. They love it!  I am so glad we are able to take them somewhere to experience things that we do not get to do everyday at home.

Reese is not afraid of the water at all.  She loves it!  She went down the slides over and over again. She had a very big time with it.

Carson likes to play on the slides also. 

Reese did not enjoy the sand on the beach. She would not touch it. We did not get to spend much time on the beach.

Carson did not care if he had sand all over him or us....

Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day and we are on vacation!  I would like to take this opportunity to say a very special Happy Father's Day to Rob.  He is an awesome Daddy to his kids.  The love him very much and are totally enjoying spending all of their time with him on this vacation.  Carson is so happy that Daddy does not have to go to work.  We appreciate everything you do for us on a daily basis. I am lucky to call you my husband and I love you very much!  Thank you for everything you do!  

Road trip

We left on Friday for the drive to Panama City Beach, Flordia. We were concerned about how Miss Reese would do on the ride since she is not a good car rider.  So we thought we would break the trip up into 2 days.  She did not have a good ride at all. She cried a lot and we were all exhausted by the time we got to the half way point.  So we stopped overnight and finished the trip on Saturday.  It was quite an experience.  Needless to say we are all glad it is over for now and we hope for a much smoother ride back home.  HAHA!

Pool time

Summer time fun!  The kids love to be outside!  Reese and Carson are getting comfortable with the water.  Reese likes to play in her new baby pool, and Carson likes it too.  But he would rather go down his big slide.  I am sharing a few pictures taken of the kids while playing in the pool.
