Great Wolf Lodge

We went to Great Wolf Lodge overnight on Spring Break. We had so much fun at the indoor water park. Reese and Carson both love the slides. We even went on some bigger slides and took Reese on them with us and she did great. I am happy they had fun. We love watching them enjoy themselves.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday at our house= busy busy day! We got up and discovered the Easter bunny came to our house and hid eggs and left Easter goodies for the kiddos. Carson and Reese were so excited to find their baskets and all of their goodies. Then we did an Easter egg hunt in the house! Next off to church and then to Meem and Peep's house! We were able to stay and enjoy everyone's company for a little bit, then off to Aunt Sandy's house for more Easter festivities.

Here are a few pictures from the day...

The Easter bunny came! Carson and Reese got candy in their baskets and coloring books and crayons. Carson got a movie- Alvin and the Chipmunks. Reese got books too!

We have Easter at Rob's Meem and Peep's house. All of the Owen family gets together and we have an Easter egg hunt and dinner. This year we celebrated Meem's birthday which is the day after Easter.

Easter eggs....

Easter eggs are so much fun to dye. It is one of my favorite memories as a child. I loved to dye them and eat them later. We do dye eggs in our house as part of our tradition for Easter. We just don't let Daddy eat them since he is allergic to them! But we have tons of fund doing this with our kids! This year Carson was able to do most of it himself. He put on Toy Story and Mickey Mouse stickers after he dyed the eggs. Reese put princess stickers on her eggs. She needed lots of help. I believe she would have had more fun throwing the eggs and watching them break. But she liked dunking them down in the colored water also. That is why she has no shirt on in some of the pictures. We had to take it off or risk ruining it.

We love our precious memories with the kids. We count our blessing and we realize they will only be this little for a very short time! We love every moment of this! I thank God every day for these precious babies!
