Mommy's Birthday

Birthdays are a big deal around this house. I make a big fuss over everyone else's birthday, and now they make a big fuss about mine. It is fun and I love sharing it with my family.

This year we celebrated with the kids and later went out to dinner and karaoke with friends.
Rob and the kids spoiled me rotten. Flowers, cake, balloons. Then they gave me presents! love them. I got a bead for my pandora bracelet, workout clothes, sunglasses and a new camera. Fun!

Here are the 2 BEST GiFtS ever!!!!!!!!!!! Look at those smiles.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Thanks for a wonderful Birthday spent with my adorable kiddos. I enjoyed my day. You two make every day a Birthday celebration. Love you all with all my heart. I hope I am able to make all of your birthdays as special as you all make mine. I LOVE YOU!

I am so lucky to have a man in my life who appreciates me and makes me feel special on the special occasions in my life. Love you ROB!

1st day of Pre K

Carson started Pre K.
Teacher: Mrs. Storrie and Mrs. Crowdus
Saint Michael
He is very excited about school this year. He likes that he only goes half day and that he gets to go every day- just like the BIG kids! It is hard to see him growing up. He is not the little boy in the classroom this year. He is a leader in the classroom. He helps other kids find their name tags. He is very brave and enjoys school very much. So far! He seems smart, he can write all of his letters now and can read certain words when he sees them. Wow.... my little baby is growing up. I tell him all the time that I want to keep him little. He says "Mommy, I have to grow up! But I will still be your little boy!" it makes me cry to hear him say that. How sweet.

Well I hope you enjoy your last year getting to come home early and take naps at home. I will miss you so much next year when you go all day long.

Happy 5th Birthday CARSON!!!

I am having a hard time believing that my little boy is 5 years old! Everyone tells you that it will fly by, and boy does it ever. I am amazed that he has grown up so much! He is in preschool and is so smart. What happened to my baby?

I miss that so much. As he grows, I feel like he needs me less and less. He is independent and really does not need me as much. It is sad.

But he is an amazing little boy. He is smart, loving, happy, funny, curious, mischevious, sweet, shy, adorable. Everything I ever imagined and more. Thank God I was blessed to be Carson's Mommy! I love you Carson. Happy 5th Birthday. May all your dreams come true!

We had Carson's birthday party at TinselTown movie theatre. We saw Toy Story 3. Carson has already seen it several times- but still loved every minute of it. His favorite character in the movie is Lotso. He loves Buzz, Woody and the rest of the gang too. The party turned out great. Busy for Mommy, but worth it to make him so happy!

MYRTLE BEACH 2010

We went to Myrtle Beach, SC this year for vacation. We originally planned to go to Destin, FL, but we changed our plans due to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. So, we went to the beach elsewhere. We met our good friends there- Nikki and Quinn and their kids. We all had a blast. The kids played together everyday on the beach.

We did a lot of fun things. We went to get ice cream, amusement parks, Dixie Stampede. Besides that, we played in the pool or on the beach every day.

Here are just a few of the pictures from that week at the beach. Cannot wait to go back!

Fishing with Grandad

Carson and Grandad go fishing in the lake in our subdivision. It is so hot, but they go. Carson loves being alone with his Grandad, and this is one thing they do that he loves. So they load up the wagon and go fishing. I hope he will have very fond memories of these days with his Grandad. I think it is very important to build bonds with Grandparents. There is a lot to be learned from a grandparent. He really enjoys their time together and I think it is great that they are close. Thank you Grandad for taking the time to spend with Carson and making wonderful memories with him.
